Purpose#
From the merchant panel you print the shipping label for a parcel: one label or several at once, in four sizes, each with a barcode and a QR code that opens the public tracking page for the recipient.
Who can use it#
Merchant accounts; no special plan feature is needed. You print labels for your own parcels, and a merchant who owns a private delivery company can also print labels for parcels moving through that company. These pages are not available to other roles.
What you need#
- At least one parcel you created.
- An internet connection when printing, because the barcode and QR code are drawn in the browser by libraries loaded from cdnjs.cloudflare.com.
- A printer and paper in one of the available sizes.
Steps#
Print one label
Open it in one of these ways: the printer icon Print shipping label on the parcel's row in My parcels, the Shipping label button on the parcel details page, or the Print shipping label button in the bar shown right after you add a parcel. The label opens in a new tab.
Print several labels
In My parcels, tick the parcels, or tick the select-all box in the first column of the table header, which covers the rows of the current page only. A bar "N Selected" appears with Print shipping labels. To print all of today's parcels press Today labels at the top of the page. After an import, a Print labels for new parcels button appears. The maximum is 200 labels at a time.
Choose the size and print
In the top bar Size: choose A6 (the default), Thermal 10×15, 80mm roll or A4 (4 per page). The bar shows the number of labels. Then press 🖨 Print to open the print dialog; the bar is hidden on the printed sheet.
Expected result#
| Size | Dimensions |
|---|---|
| A6 | 105 × 148 mm |
| Thermal 10×15 | 100 × 150 mm |
| 80mm roll | 80 mm wide, height follows the content |
| A4 (4 per page) | four labels per A4 page with dashed cut lines |
Each label contains:
- The header: the delivery company name, the parcel creation date and the order number if there is one.
- A CODE128 barcode of the tracking number, the tracking number as text, and a QR code leading to the public tracking page of the parcel.
- The governorate in large type when it is known.
- Recipient: name, phone and address.
- Amount to collect in the parcel currency; when there is no collection, the box shows the caption "Collection" with the value "Paid" instead of the amount.
- Weight and Pieces (pieces is always 1).
- Sender: business name, pickup location name, phone and address (cut at 90 characters).
- "Note: ..." when there is one (cut at 140 characters).
Common mistakes#
- Empty barcode or QR code. The browser could not reach cdnjs.cloudflare.com, and the page ignores the error without a message. Get online and reopen the label before printing.
- "No parcels were created today to print labels for. Select parcels from the list or create a new parcel." Shown when you press Today labels and no parcel was created today; you are sent back to My parcels. It relies on the creation date, so select earlier parcels by hand.
- "The selected parcels were not found or you do not have access to them." A wrong parcel number, or one that is not yours. For a single label you get the 404 "Page Not Found" error page.
- Not all labels printed. Only the first 200 parcels of any selection are printed.
- A parcel sent to an external shipping company. The printed label is the platform's label with the platform tracking number. The shipping company's own tracking number appears in My parcels under the company name, not on the label.
Limits and permissions#
- There are only four sizes; any other size value falls back to A6.
- Scanning the QR code needs no sign-in: the public tracking page is open to anyone with the link (see the tracking guide).
- Today labels covers your own parcels only, while selecting by parcel number also covers parcels of your private company if you have one.
