Notifications

Notifications

The notification channels the platform actually implements — push, in-panel alerts, e-mail and SMS — and the conditions of each.

  • Push and in-panel alerts
  • E-mail and SMS, as configured
  • Each channel states what it needs

Channels

Automatic event notifications

Ready-made rules for parcel created, courier assigned for delivery or pickup, rescheduled, delivered in full or in part, returned, wallet top-up and withdrawal, and a store order that could not become a parcel.

Off by default

SMS

The verification code when a new merchant registers (sent by SMS only) and parcel messages a staff member chooses to send when assigning or rescheduling a pickup. The supported providers stay off until an administrator configures one.

Questions about notifications

Which channels exist?

Push notifications, in-panel alerts, e-mail and SMS — and each channel’s activation condition is stated on this page.

What is needed for parcel-event push notifications?

The platform administrator sets up Firebase first; then push notifications for parcel events such as created, assigned, delivered and returned work.

What does the in-panel alert list show?

News, offers and support messages — not parcel events.

Good to know

  • Parcel events arrive as push notifications only; they do not appear in the notifications menu inside the panels.
  • Some automatic rules are off by default and the platform administrator switches them on; each company can switch off the rules open to it or reword them.
  • When a message goes to a group (everyone, a role or a company), Firebase confirms only that it accepted the request; the platform does not show delivery to each device.
  • The platform does not keep the SMS provider’s reply and does not show its errors.
