Connecting online stores: what syncs and how the page works
Overview of the Store integrations page: supported platforms, sync direction, plan feature and store limit, who is excluded, token health, and how to suspend or delete a connection.

Purpose#
The Store integrations page connects your online store to the platform: orders in the store become parcels with the delivery company you choose (rules below), and for WooCommerce, Shopify, Salla and Zid the shipment status goes back to the store. It has a card for each of those four platforms, plus a Store Syria card (not covered here) that works with a key you generate on the "Webhook and API" page (via the card's "Integration keys" link, with the same plan feature).
Who can use it#
- Platform merchants only. A merchant created by a delivery company is redirected to the dashboard with a notice that the feature is for platform merchant accounts.
- Plan. Connecting WooCommerce, Shopify or Salla requires "Store integrations (Salla, WooCommerce, Shopify)" in your plan, and "Number of connected stores" caps the connections; reconnecting the same store is not counted. If merchant plans are active and you have no active subscription, connecting is refused. A plan whose features were never configured allows everything. Connecting Zid checks none of this, and a Zid store is not counted: the count covers only the connections under "Your connected stores".
What syncs, and in which direction#
| Platform | Store to platform | Platform to store |
|---|---|---|
| WooCommerce | order.created and order.updated webhooks with a verified signature, plus the "Fetch latest orders" button |
A note on the order with the shipment number; on full or partial delivery the order status becomes completed |
| Shopify | orders/create and orders/updated webhooks |
A fulfillment with the tracking number, and delivery events |
| Salla | Signed events from the Delivery Syria app in Salla | A shipment in Salla and its status updates |
| Zid | order.create, order.status.update and order.payment_status.update events |
Zid order status change: ready, then indelivery, then delivered |
A background job re-checks every 5 minutes the orders that arrived but were not processed (last 7 days, up to 5 attempts); Zid orders are processed every minute. In general, "Cash on delivery" becomes a parcel with collection, an order paid online a parcel without collection, and an unpaid order waits. A partially paid Shopify order collects the remainder; completed WooCommerce orders and fulfilled Shopify orders are ignored. By default, only Salla and Zid orders where the customer chose Delivery Syria shipping become parcels (for Salla, only while the status is Under review or In progress).
What you need#
- A delivery company available to you and an active pickup location, both mandatory. With no pickup location the page says (in Arabic): "ما عندك أماكن استلام — ضيف واحد من «أماكن الاستلام» أول." (add one from Pickup locations).
- Wallet balance. If it is too low the parcel is saved as awaiting a top up and completes automatically when funds arrive; otherwise it is cancelled after 24 hours. The store is told about the shipment only after the parcel completes.
Set up and follow up#
Connect your platform
Open Store integrations from the Integration section of the side menu and follow the guide for your platform.
Choose the delivery company and pickup location
Under "Your connected stores" (WooCommerce, Shopify and Salla stores) pick "Delivery company for this store orders" and "Pickup location", then Save. For Zid, pick them in the Zid card and press the button labelled in Arabic «حفظ إعدادات زد». Internal companies carry the suffix "(my couriers)". Either save re-processes orders that failed for missing setup. On a WooCommerce, Shopify or Salla store, if you changed the company or pickup location, parcels still awaiting funds move to the new setup, while those already sent to the delivery company stay as they are. The Zid save does not move existing parcels.
Test the connection and review the options
In the "Your connected stores" list press Test connection. The form also has "Automatically create a parcel for each order", "Send shipment status back to the store", "Via my own account with the shipping company" and "Default weight (kg)". Initial values: automatic creation on, status sync on, weight 1 kg. On Save, any unticked option becomes off. The Zid card has neither.
- See this store's orders
- Delivery company for the store's orders
- Default pickup place
Expected result#
Each store in "Your connected stores" shows an Active or Suspended badge, counters for parcels, orders awaiting payment and failed orders, and the time of the last order. Orders opens the log of each order and its status: Processing or Creating (waiting for its parcel), Parcel created, Awaiting payment in the store, Failed (reason in "Note / reason"), Ignored (already completed or shipped in the store), Cancelled in store. A failed, pending or ignored order has a Retry form with an address-correction field and a manual governorate choice. The Zid card shows a "Connected" badge and its latest 8 orders, with a retry for failed ones. You also receive a notification (if its rule is enabled) the first time creating the parcel for an order fails; the automatic re-checks do not repeat it. None is sent for ignored, awaiting-payment or other-shipping-company orders, nor for cancelled WooCommerce, Shopify or Salla orders. In Zid, an order that becomes cancelled, refunded, voided, failed or expired in Zid before its parcel exists is marked Failed and does notify, and a manual retry of a Zid order that fails again can notify again.
Connection health#
Zid and Salla tokens renew automatically (an hourly job, before they expire). Under the platform card you see the state: healthy, renewing soon, warning, or reconnect needed, with a Refresh now button, labelled in Arabic «جدّد الآن» (at most 6 times a minute, and hidden for Zid when a reconnect is needed). If your action is needed, an alert with an Open store integrations button, labelled in Arabic «افتح ربط المتاجر», appears on the merchant home page. WooCommerce and Shopify do not show this state.
Disconnecting#
- Suspend stops automatic parcel creation (for new orders and for "Fetch latest orders"); a manual Retry on a failed, pending or ignored order in the orders log still creates the parcel while the connection is suspended. For WooCommerce and Shopify, orders received meanwhile are kept and handled after Activate if they are under 7 days old.
- Delete removes the connection and its orders that have no parcel; parcels already created remain. Webhooks in your store are not removed, so delete them in the store settings.
- Salla and Zid: uninstall the app in that platform's own dashboard. Zid has no Delete button.
Common mistakes#
- Cancelling the order in the store after the parcel exists. The parcel is not cancelled automatically; a note asks you to cancel or delete it manually.
- Not saving a delivery company and pickup location. Orders fail with a message starting "إعداد المتجر ناقص:" (store setup incomplete).
- Connecting a store linked to another merchant. The message says it is connected to another merchant account on the platform.
Limits and permissions#
- Connecting a WooCommerce store, or a Shopify store with the manual form, is limited to 20 requests per minute, and the per-store buttons (Test connection, Re-register Webhooks, Fetch latest orders, Suspend/Activate, Delete) to 30 per minute. Other limits depend on the platform and are given in its guide.
- A store (platform plus URL) can be linked to one merchant account only.
- Some messages on this page have no English translation and appear in Arabic even in the English interface.
